The will was witnessed by a Lomax. Herts CRO ref 41332. Death Abt 1653 - http://www.hertfordshire-genealogy.co.uk/data/bmd/burial-index.htm shows an extract of The National Burial index, this includes details of a John Thrale who died 4 Nov 1653 at Husborne Crawley, St Mary Magdalene. Could this be the same John Thrale?
