ABSTRACT OF THE WILL OF THOMAS THRALE OF FAIRFOLDS FARM IN THE PARISH OF SAUNDRIDGE, CO. HERTFORD. yeoman.
DATED. 1st October, 1813. - PROVED. 14 April, 1814. Archd. St. Albans.
To my sister Susannah the wife of Robert Smith of Saundridge, farmer all my half part in that copyhold Farm lands and pastures commonly called Street Farm at or near Saundridge now in the tenure or occupation of the said Robert Smith to the said Susannah Smith her heirs and assigns for ever.
To my said sister Susannah my freehold message with land and premises belonging situate at Wheathamstead Hill in co. Hertford now in the tenure or occupation of John Barker to her heirs and assigns for ever.
To my sister Elizabeth Thrale my copyhold Farm lands etc. called Fairfolds in the parish of Saundridge now in my own possession together with the Copyhold lands etc. formerly called Woodcock Hill but now held by me with the said Farm called Fairfolds.
All other my real estate not by this will otherwise disposed sister Elizabeth Thrale her heirs and assigns for ever. Subject to and I hereby charge the same with the payment of the sum of £3,000 which I give to my said sister Susanna Smith for her own use.
To my said sisters Susanna Smith and Elizabeth Thrale their heirs, executors and assigns as Tenants in Common and not as joint Tenants all my estate, right etc. in all the real and personal estate and property of my late mother Mary Thrale, deceased. My personal estate not bequeathed to my two said sisters Sussanna Smith and Elizabeth Thrale equally.
